OUR ORGANIZATION

Give for Change Foundation – Texas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering emotional resilience and providing spiritual care to disaster survivors. Originally founded in Ghana by Ingrid Boakye in 2022, the foundation was established to extend God’s love to the world through giving, with a commitment to undertaking SDG oriented projects annually to impact lives. The foundation has since then completed four successful projects. This year, Give for Change Foundation - Ghana focused on flood relief efforts, and when devastating floods struck Texas simultaneously, the compassion that fueled the mission in Ghana also inspired the expansion of these relief efforts to Texas giving birth to Give for Change Foundation – Texas.

Our first relief project, carried out in Ghana in 2025 and officially endorsed by the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), provided food assistance to over 50 families including mothers and children in financial hardship while also offering prayer, encouragement, and emotional support. This experience shaped our mission: survivors need more than physical aid, they need hope, healing, and community to rebuild.

Now rooted in Texas, Give for Change Foundation is dedicated to serving local communities impacted by disasters by offering both in-person and virtual support. Our programs include prayer, resilience circles, listening support, and partnerships with shelters and recovery centers. Whether face-to-face or online, our vision is simple: to help people not only recover physically but also heal emotionally and spiritually, restoring strength for the future.

OUR MISSION

Extending God's love across Texas by compassion led flood relief efforts to strengthen emotional resilience among flood victims.
